If you’re the number one pick in any draft, the chances are you’re going to have a pretty good career. Troy Aikman was the 1st pick in the 1989 draft, heading to the Dallas Cowboys as their starting quarterback.
The quarterback led the Cowboys to three Super Bowl victories, while having the personal honor of being chosen in the Pro Bowl six times. In one of the Super Bowls Aikman was even selected as the MVP, showing how important he was to the Cowboys’ success.
