Before Tom Brady was the icon of the New England Patriots, they had another man to lead them to glory almost single-handedly. That man was Drew Bledsoe, who was drafted to the Patriots in 1993 at a time when they were really struggling to compete.
They hadn’t made the playoffs for eight years in a row until Bledsoe began running the show, leading them to the postseason six times. Bledsoe was able to give the Patriots fans something to smile about once again as they finally returned to winning ways.
