Playing 21 seasons in the NFL is no mean feat, but that’s exactly how long Vinny Testaverde hung around the sport for. He successfully spent 21 years avoiding taking huge hits from some of the meanest linebackers ever to play football.
Testaverde joined the NFL in 1987 after being drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before jumping around several other teams in the league. He played for the Cleveland Browns, and the New York Jets while being chosen to play in the Pro Bowl twice.
