Testaverde just couldn’t leave football behind him when he retired, which might explain how he had the motivation to continue playing for so long. Although he had to leave the NFL following his retirement, Testaverde would not leave the field, and he became a coach.
Testaverde tried his hand at coaching young adults, becoming the head coach of his son’s football team at Jesuit High School. When he isn’t working hard trying to make his son’s team better, Testaverde likes to unwind by spending as much time as possible with his family.
