If you’ve ever been to a gig, you’ll know that the musicians are always dressed to the nines with their designer clothing and their fancy shoes. However, it might surprise you to know that there’s something about their shoes that significantly reduces their fanciness. If you were to look on the bottom of their shoes, you’ll see that they are all lined with textured tape. This isn’t to add a little somethin’ somethin’ to their appearance, but to stop the performer from slipping up and falling on their backs in front of hundreds of thousands of people.
