As you stand in the crowd with your giant sign that you tirelessly handcrafted for your favorite performer, you’re probably utterly convinced that they looked you directly in the eye and smiled at your efforts. Well, that actually didn’t happen. Stadium tours are decked out in some of the brightest lights known to man, and almost all of them are shining down onto the artist. This means it is impossible for them to see anything in front of them. In fact, that’s one of the reasons why these performers fall over so much.
