After running multiple tests and screenings, the doctors in the hospital determined that Bacon had a lung problem. This is what had caused the breathlessness, and could well have led to much more serious problems as well.
Apparently, the official diagnosis was pneumonia on both lungs, a condition Bacon described as feeling like he had ‘bird-flu on both lungs.’ Pneumonia is no laughing matter and can lead to gravely serious health complications, so it’s a good job Bacon was in the right place.
