Again, Philip has never come out and admitted to liking or disliking his new granddaughter. However, it’s probable that he has two different opinions of Meghan based on her as a person, and her as a royal.
What those opinions might be we can only guess, but we’d say one was definitely more favorable than the other. It’s possible that this is how his wife views the Duchess too. While she might judge Meghan based on her public behavior, that doesn’t mean she can’t still like her as a person.
