In animated comedy series The Simpsons failed star Troy McClure is trying to resurrect his career, and his manager convinces him to get married. McClure marries Selma in a sham marriage, something she later learns but agrees to hang around anyway.
Then McClure’s manager convinces his client that having a child would really boost his popularity. McClure turns out the lights in his bedroom and the pair both attempt to persuade the other to begin the intimacy but both finding excuses not to.
