Modern Family often relies on cringeworthy moments to get laughs, and they usually comes from the Dunphy family’s patriarch Phil. It’s his anniversary with his wife Claire, and so their three kids decide to serve them breakfast in bed.
Unfortunately, Phil and Claire are already occupied with the horizontal mambo, if you catch our drift. The children, horrified, run screaming out as Phil yells “Nothing’s happening.” Just to put the cherry on top, Phil and Claire later have the most awkward birds-and-the-bees talk in history – we think their kids already know.
