House of Lies is a comedy about the cutthroat world of f management consultants, and how they’d stop at nothing to get business deals done. Kristen Bell portrays Jeannie van der Hooven, a partner in the show’s consultancy firm, Kaan & Associates.
In season two, she has a tryst with the owner of a company specializing in toys for grownups, if you know what we mean, played by The O.C.’s Adam Brody. Only thing was Bell was seven months pregnant at the time, which left both Brody and the viewers feeling extremely uncomfortable.
