We see this type of behavior in so many legends that have inspired us over the years. Stephen Hawking, the renowned scientist, was faced with an imminent choice when his condition rendered him unable to speak, walk, or basically do most motor functions.

And yet he continued doing his work, and never stopped contributing to society just like he’d been doing before. It’s no different than Selma situation, and the parallels don’t stop there at all.
