It’s thought that MS typically affects people between 20 and 40 years old with women being more likely to develop the condition than men. However, this isn’t always the case. Some symptoms only appear for a few days before they disappear only to return at a later date.
Everyone’s signs are different, and Selma assumed hers were from other illnesses. Having MS never appeared to cross her mind, and like many, Selma’s wasn’t diagnosed until she headed to the doctors.
