No one was more aware of how tight the schedule was than the Pacific Princess’ captain, Paul Slight. His main goal, after all, wasn’t just to get everyone safely from point A, to B and then C, but to also make sure it’s done in a timely manner.
In truth, it was a split second decision to change the ship’s course. It wasn’t one he’d taken lightly – possible danger was truly behind it, as he spotted a burst of light in the sky. Instead of turning back, however, he raced towards it.
