It certainly wasn’t easy, but through careful, expert maneuvering of the giant cruise ship, the Pacific Princess was able to get in close enough to the stranded men.
The next step was clear – actually getting them onboard. Simple enough, right? Using materials found on the ship, the crew was able to fashion a makeshift ladder. They then threw it down to them, with the hope they could use it to climb to safety, finally bringing the whole thing to a happy conclusion.
