Actor Gene Hackman is said to dislike taking on roles that were written with him in mind to begin with, which is perhaps the reason for his acting out on the set of Wes Anderson’s The Royal Tenebaums.
The cast and crew complained of his behavior, saying he allegedly bullied them to the point of everyone being afraid of him. Reportedly, Bill Murray was the only one who wasn’t intimidated and used to hang around the set when he shouldn’t have been there, just to keep the peace.
