Chevy Chase is known as a comedy legend, but he also has a reputation in the industry for being completely awful to work with.
This reputation began all the way back in his Saturday Night Live days in the ‘70s, where he frequently couldn’t get along with co-stars, and he later almost got in a fist fight with Bill Murray. The problems continued throughout his career, including his time on the show Community, which Joel McHale detailed in his book, sharing that Chase frequently made inappropriate comments, and was rude to the crew.
