It’s hard to imagine Julia Roberts being anything but kind, but looks can be deceiving. Most of the criticism comes from her time on the movie Hook, where it was said she acted like a prima donna.
Director Steven Spielberg hinted she was difficult to work with, earning her the nickname “Tinkerhell.” Later, Roberts suddenly quit the set of Shakespeare in Love, with no explanation, and also had issues on the set of I Love Trouble. Her co-star, Nick Nolte, shared that Roberts wasn’t a nice person, and most people knew it.
