Moonlighting proved to be Bruce Willis’ big break. He had featured in a few guest roles in TV shows such as Miami Vice and The Twilight Zone, but after Moonlighting he was a bonafide star. Before the show finished in 1989, he starred as John McClane in the action thriller Die Hard, and from there he never looked back. He has starred in numerous Die Hard sequels since and appeared in the tense thriller Pulp Fiction in 1994. Besides acting he also is a talented singer, releasing his first studio album in 1987. Willis has stated in the past that his acting heroes include John Wayne, Robert De Niro, and Steve McQueen.
