Kate admits that she regretted her decision almost immediately, and would often tell men about her daughter. That’s not all. The actress hired a private investigator just days after she was adopted to try and track her down.
It wasn’t until 2001 that Kate was finally able to meet Danielle while she was filming the sci-fi series Star Trek: Voyager. Apparently, Danielle had been searching for her mom for a year before the meeting, and now has the chance to grow up with her half-brothers, Ian and Alec.
