Although Rod and Sarah tried to meet a handful of times throughout the 1980s, it seemed as though neither of them knew how to build a relationship. Sarah soon slipped into a spiral of narcotics addiction while Rod continued to grow his family with six more children: Kimberley, Sean, Ruby, Renee, Liam, Alastair, and Aiden.
Thankfully, Rod and Sarah finally put their differences aside after the passing of Sarah’s adoptive parents in 2007. The two now say they have a stronger relationship than ever, and Sarah has remained sober for the last two years. That’s not all. Sarah has officially become a huge part of all of her half-siblings’ lives as well.
