The young girl Roseanne had placed up for adoption all those years ago was now named Brandi Brown, and it looked as though they were going to be strangers no more. It turned out a tabloid had been able to track her down. It had been 17 years since Roseanna had last seen her daughter – would they be able to make it work?
Thankfully, the pair immediately hit it odd, and the actress even admitted “I saw a lot of her in me” in an interview with People Magazine. Brandi went on to work as a production assistant on her mother’s sitcom Roseanne, as well as getting the chance to meet her four half-siblings: Jessica, Jennifer, Jake, and Buck.
