We all fell in love with Vanessa Hudgens when she played the role of Gabriella in the Disney channel original film series High School Musical.

But while her character in the movie was of Filipino descent, she is that and more in real life. In addition to her Filipino side, she has ties to Chinese, Irish, and Native American cultures. When you consider her diverse background, it really gives a whole new meaning the the lyric, “We’re all in this together.”
