[post_page_title]James Dean (age 24)[/post_page_title]
Though it has unfortunately become commonplace, James Dean was the first to receive a nomination for the Best Actor Academy Award posthumously – he is also the only one to have ever received two Oscar nominations after death.
Believed to be one of the best actors of The Golden Age of Hollywood, Dean was taken from us in 1955 at the age of 24. His need for speed ended up being the cause of his untimely death, as he was killed almost instantaneously in a car accident.
