In 2013 Naomi Watts portrayed Princess Diana in the biopic that documented the final two years of the much-loved Royal’s life. It helped that Watts bore a resemblance to Diana, but once she underwent the hair and makeup transformation, she was very much ‘the’ Lady Diana Spencer.
The English actress was perfect for the role as she starred alongside Lost actor Naveen Andrews telling the story of Diana’s tragic end. Diana gave us a glimpse into the romantic life the Royal was never able to openly enjoy due to pressure from her family and the public.
