It wasn’t long before the gymnast picked up a strong media following who even gave Nadia her very own theme tune! The music, Cotton’s Dream, was originally from the movie Bless the Beasts and Children that had been released a few years before. However, ABC decided to use it for their feature clip summing up the Olympics which had photos and videos of Nadia played in slow-motion to the music. Afterward, everyone began to associate the song with the gymnast the press quickly nicknamed the song Nadia’s Theme.
