Life for Nadia seemed as though it should be at its peak after such a successful summer. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case as things were about to take a turn for the worse. Nadia’s parents decided to split up, which she struggled to deal with, but this wasn’t the only change in store. Although the reasoning wasn’t clear, the sports officials in Romania decided that Bela Karolyi should no longer coach Nadia. The pair had been training together since Nadia was only 6 years old, and the news came at the same time her parents announced their break-up.
