Nadia’s life continued to spiral out of control as in 1979 more disastrous events came to a head. Nadia was accused of having an affair with Nicu Ceausescu, one of the sons of Nicolae Ceausescu – a dictator in Romania. Nicu had quite the reputation for wooing many women, as well as losing an enormous amount of his money to gambling, and causing trouble wherever he went! Neither party ever confirmed the alleged affair, but it didn’t help Nadia’s once perfect reputation.
