Nadia graciously accepted the offer to be trained by one of the greats. By the time she was 7, Nadia had a busy schedule as she would fit in 2-3 hours of practice a day with her new mentor. Bela set up a school in Onesti where he signed Nadia up as one of his very first pupils. Her new coach was amazed at how dedicated Nadia was, but she recalls how it didn’t always stand for anything. At her first few competitions, Nadia would fall a lot, but this didn’t put her off – she wanted to be the best.
