During 1976 Montreal was the host of the Olympic Games; Nadia’s first ever Olympics. Here she was able to enter both the solo division alongside being part of the team for her country. Here, Nadia partook in several competitions. Unbeknown to the audience (who had no idea who this budding gymnast from Romania was), they were about to see history in the making. No gymnast in the history of the sport had achieved what Nadia was about to pull off.
