The Ramganga river in India is a tributary of the infamous Ganges river, and like this sign says it is filled with crocodiles. Crocodiles are not animals you want to mess with, so we can totally understand why it’s been prohibited here.
But what makes this sign so funny is the line about survivors being prosecuted, meaning some people might not make it out of the river to begin with. That’s definitely one way to make swimmers think twice before breaking the rules to jump on in.
