For many casual onlookers, the reason behind the fall of their marriage seems obvious, but Caitlyn has a slightly different version of events. In her iconic Vanity Fair interview, Caitlyn shared that her transition and gender identity had actually only played a small part in their downfall. According to Caitlyn, Kris had treated her terribly throughout their marriage, which led to many of their issues together.
