Megan stared at her phone in disbelief and had to pinch herself that she was really looking at the words on the screen. Shantel had messaged the teenager with a simple “It’s a no x.” Megan was shocked at just how unprofessional the text message was, and she was also extremely upset. She had thought that she had presented herself in a positive fashion in the interview and believed she had done a good enough job to be offered a position.
