More than anything, the way that she was rejected from the restaurant was an upsetting experience for Megan. She had prepared as much as possible, she had tried to impress during the interview, and she felt as though her rejection was insulting her personality and her interviewing skills. She was able to brush it off but imagined that it would be much worse for young people who did not have as much self-confidence or belief in themselves. She didn’t want anyone else to go through what she went through.
