The restaurant chain noted that the messages had been sent in error to Megan, and it was never their aim to upset Megan or make her feel disrespected in any way. However, these comments only came from a spokesperson for the restaurant. Throughout the whole ordeal, Shantel refused to comment to any of the messages sent to the restaurant, or any of the requests for interviews or statements from members of the press. She has since not said a word to Megan or apologized in any way.
