Chutney Windham is Brooke Taylor-Windham’s stepdaughter, who accuses her stepmother of being responsible for the passing of her father, Hayworth Windham. In the movie, she is portrayed to have a frizzy perm, which she claims she had done the day of her father’s passing and was washing it out at the time, therefore did not hear anything.
Elle eventually exposes Chutney, who reveals she was the one indeed responsible, as she had mistaken Hayworth for being Brooke, whom she hated for marrying her father. Chutney is then arrested.
