Elle Woods is the sorority sister protagonist at the fictional California University Los Angeles, who, despite her ditzy persona, maintains a surprising 4.0 GPA. After her boyfriend, Warner Huntington III, breaks up with her on the night she thought he’d propose, Elle follows him to Harvard Law School, where she fights for her admittance.
Once there, however, Elle discovers Warner has a new fiancee. However, she manages to exonerate fitness instructor Brooke Taylor-Windham who was wrongfully acquitted, and discovers is perfectly fine without Warner
