Elle is working for Congresswoman Rudd, when she is inspired to pass ‘Bruises Bill,’ a motion to ban all animal testing. However, in her efforts to pass the bill in congress, she discovers that Rudd had been working against her.
Rudd eventually confesses to Elle that she was doing this to satisfy one of her major donors, Bob. After Rudd’s Chief of Staff overheard a recording of this conversation, she was shocked and blackmails Rudd into help Elle.
