After taking a short hiatus from her acting, Sally Field returned to the screen with the television series ‘ER,’ winning a Primetime Emmy Award for her role in the medical drama. The following year, she appeared for the first time on stage in ‘The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?.’ She acted in ‘Brothers & Sisters,’ receiving another Emmy, followed by an Academy Award for ‘Lincoln.’
Field also acted in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ and the sequel, and ‘Hello, My Name is Doris,’ earning herself a Critics’ Choice nomination. She’s also been nominated for a Tony Award for in ‘The Glass Menagerie.’
