Paulette is the vivacious and quirky manicurist and hairstylist, whom Elle befriends at the salon near Harvard. Although initially coming off as shy, Paulette is actually quite comical, and is known for her heavy makeup and tight, provocative clothing.
She has a crush on the UPS Guy, and becomes really awkward around him. Eventually, the two end up together and have a daughter they name Elle. Paulette also has a dog that she dotes over, named Rufus.
