The gorgeous Amanda Seyfried played Karen Smith. Smith was the doe-eyed plastic with a startlingly low IQ and a questionable talent for weather reporting. Seyfried actually first auditioned for the role of Regina George but producers believed the actress was better fitted to play Regina’s dim-witted sidekick. Before landing the role in the hit comedy, Seyfried got her start as a teen model later starring in the popular soap operas, All my Children and As the World Turns.
