When your husband is the heir to the throne, you should expect to spend your days being exceedingly busy. That means not always having the time for your kids, something Diana greatly struggled with.
She had no choice but to enlist the help of a nanny or two, although she was reluctant to put them in charge of too much. She only asked for their help when she absolutely had to, because being a mom was too important to Diana. It certainly mattered more to her than being a royal.
