Princess Diana was known for doing things deemed unconventional by the Royal Family. This included taking her children to local homeless shelters in and around London, so that William and Harry could understand that not everyone was as privileged as they were.
While some people might have found the act to be too much for royal kids to handle, both Princes would later admit to how eye-opening the trips with their mother were, which have since inspired their own charity work in shelters.
