Nearly everyone who met Diana was delighted by the Princess’ down-to-earth nature and sense of respect for those around her. Her graciousness also extended to the entire staff of her home.
According to Darren McGrady, Diana’s former personal chef, the Princess would often stroll into the kitchen where she would even sit and eat with the staff as opposed to the dining room. This was something unheard of at the time, and something McGrady claimed “the rest of the royals would never do.”
