[post_page_title]An underwhelming choice[/post_page_title]
The ring Diana had chosen was a 12-carat sapphire in a bed of diamonds. It was something that spoke to her, although not everyone could see the appeal. Apparently, some people thought that the piece of jewelry wasn’t unique enough for someone destined to become queen consort.
However, the Princess paid the critics no mind. In fact, she was probably glad that the ring didn’t stand out too much. After all, she wasn’t marrying Charles simply because he was heir to the throne. She was doing it out of love.
