[post_page_title]Experiments with makeup[/post_page_title]
Diana might not have always dressed colorfully, but she still remained eye-catching in one way or another. That typically involved her use of makeup, which wasn’t usually toned down. At least, not by the Royal Family’s standard.
Women in the monarchy were expected to keep their use of things like mascara and foundation minimal, but Diana rarely did that. Instead, she applied as much as she felt like, often doing so with striking colors. She liked experimenting with her makeup, and no rules would stop her from doing that.
