This desire to protect Meghan may have even gotten in the way of Prince Harry’s relationship with his brother, Prince William. According to reports, when Harry and Meghan’s relationship began to get serious, William warned Harry to slow things down.
This apparently upset Harry, who was already certain that Meghan was the woman who he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. And sure enough, Harry proposed after just one year of dating. Some believe that this was the beginning of a split between the brothers.
