If it wasn’t clear, Carey loves spending money. Ever since her records started making millions, the singer’s been spending like there’s no tomorrow. Unfortunately, that may have been why her relationship with Packer didn’t work out.
Supposedly, the man didn’t appreciate how lavishly Mariah lived her life, so he wanted out. Although reps for the pair denied this, we could certainly understand why James would be hesitant. After all, just because he’s a billionaire, that doesn’t mean he wants his partner spending everything he worked hard to make.
