It’s safe to say that Jon and Dorothea did an excellent job with their parenting. Stephanie’s substance abuse issues were a blip in the system, and they were a long time ago now. We doubt she’ll ever go through something like that again, especially after the scare she experienced the night she took too much.
Hopefully, none of her other siblings ever end up in that position. Given they saw firsthand how it affected their sister and parents, we don’t expect they’ll put their lives on the line like that.
