Finding out that your husband has Parkinson’s when they’re not even in their thirties can be hard to deal with. It would have been easy for Pollan to run at the first sign of trouble and leave Fox to deal with the illness by himself, but she didn’t. Instead, she stood by his side and helped him when he was at his lowest. The realization that his wife wasn’t going anywhere, even after everything he’d put her through, showed Fox just how much Pollan truly loved him.
